The Bresser Messier 10" Dobsonian is an extremely large Reflector telescope which offers amateur Astronomers of all levels some of the most spectacular views and experiences of our Solar Systems and other deep space objects. Although they are quite big, Dobsonian designs like this are extremely easy and intuitive to use.

The optical diameter of 254mm (10") does not limit your observations to solar system objects such as the moon or the planets - At this size of telescope you will reach much further into deep space and explore globular / open star clusters, nebulae and galaxies, all in much more detail than smaller telescopes.

With a Telescope of this aperture objects are beginning to show some structure: globular clusters are no longer only fuzzy circles, but are resolved into masses of individual stars. Nebulae, that can only be barely detected in smaller scopes, start to reveal structures within. The excellent Hexafoc focuser boosts a large 2.5" diameter so that you don't have vignetting in big widefield eyepieces that can occur in smaller focuser barrels.

The big altitude wheels handle the large heavy optics without issue - and if you decide to use even larger accessories (like a bino-viewer with two eyepieces) then you can move the tube in its tube rings and achieve balance within seconds. If you need to transport or store the telescope, the rocker box disassembles (and re-assembles) very easily.
