TS-PHOTON 203/800 mm Advanced Newtonian - Ideal for Astrophotography:

This Astrograph offers you pure light gathering ability due to the aperture ratio of 1:4 and therefore much shorter exposure times. With a weight of about 8.4 kg and a length of only 730cm, the Photon Newtonian is also a easily transportable for ventures to dark sky locations.

This Rich-Field-Newton is best mounted on a good astronomical mount capable of its payload and of course tracking options are a must for deep sky astrophotography.

Features of the TS-PHOTON Newtonian telescopes:

  1. Bright parabolic optics with excellent contrast and very good sharpness for planetary observation and deep sky observation.
  2. High-quality 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro reduction for 2" and 1.25" accessories.
  3. Focal point position ideal for DSLR and other cameras.
  4. All common 1.25" and 2" eyepieces can be used without any problems.
  5. Brighter image through forced 94% mirroring on the main and secondary mirrors.
  6. Focus motor can be retrofitted at any time.
  7. A 0.5 mm thin stainless steel secondary mirror spider provides stability and creates beautiful diffraction spikes around bright stars.
  8. The active primary mirror ventilation ensures significantly faster cooling.
  9. Adjustable primary mirror mount and secondary mirror mount completely made of metal.
