There's nothing more frustrating than an imaging session cut short because of dew or frost forming on your optics. While dew heater bands can protect the optics of your telescope from this problem, it can also happen on your camera sensor itself, especially when you begin to cool it to sub zero temperatures.
 
This anti-dew heater strip is used for anti-dew on the front window of the ASI cooled cameras (for ones which don't already have build in heaters). This kit includes the zip-tie, anti-dew heater strip, and a Y power cord.

The thickness of the anti-dew heater strip is 0.2~0.3 mm. The Y power cord is designed to connect in-line with the camera's cooler power supply for convenience. 

We recommend a 12 V DC adapter with at least 0.35 A, as the heating power on the strip is approx. 4.2 watts. You can use the same power cord to power both fan and heater simultaneously, but its important to make sure not to exceed the recommended amount of amperes.

How to use it:

1. Remove the protective film on the adhesive tape.
2. Put the anti-dew heater strip on the front facing of the camera and position it so that when the cable is folded back, it will align with the DC plug at the rear end of the camera.
3. Secure the black heater cable with the tie-wrap on the camera body.
4. Plug in the power cord, and your ready to go.
