ZWO Adapter for connecting your cooled ASI Astro-Camera to a Canon EOS lens:
Now you can use your high-quality EOS camera lenses for taking widefield shots of the night sky. This adapter allows you to replace the camera body with an astro camera and use the stock lens. This gives many more options for obtaining incredible noise free images by benefiting from the sensitivity and cooling of your astro camera over a standard DSLR.
This adapter has two parts (EOS-T2 adapter and a 5mm long T2-extender). Its suitable for all ASI cameras including:
- EOS-T2 adapter without T2-extender is suitable for 17.5 mm backfocus distance ASI cameras such as cooled cameras and ASI174, ASI294, ASI183, ASI1600, ASI533 and ASI2600.
- EOS-T2 adapter with the 5mm T2-extender is suitable for all 12.5 mm backfocus ASI cameras such as ASI120, ASI224, ASI290, ASI178 and ASI385.
Note: You can also use 2" filters (max. cell height 5 mm w/o male thread) with the adapter. The adapter is un-adjustable and supports Canon EF lenses only.
