The Bresser EXOS-2 GoTo German Equatorial Mount is a full GOTO mount with tracking motors in both axes that follow celestial objects very precisely and can be accurately controlled using the 'Star Tracker' hand controller.

Precision ball bearings in both axes of the mount ensures minimal backlash during all nine possible tracking speeds and the mount can be powered by a 12V battery pack which is conveniently fastened to the tripod shelf and takes eight size "D" batteries. You can also power the mount using a suitable mains adapter or 12V car plug adapter. The rigid tripod and mount assembly allows a generous payload of up to 13kg - perfect for small to medium sized Telescopes.

EXOS-2 GOTO System:
The Startracker GoTo System enables beginners with little experience to start astronomical observations in just a few minutes, and guides you to various objects in the night sky that are not visible through the small finder scope.

At the push of a button you can locate Planets, Nebulae or Galaxies in minutes. The database on the Startracker system holds thousands of celestial objects to choose from.

The Bresser StarTracker GoTo systems also uses servo motors for both axes and features an ST-4 compatible autoguiding input - essential for long exposure Astrophotography. The menu and navigation of the Startracker hand controller is also multilingual and offers a choice of German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
