The Bresser Messier MC-127 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope offers high rigidity and tack-sharp optics - Its an ideal telescope for Lunar and Planetary viewing as well as some of the brighter deep space targets.
The high rigidity of the EXOS-2 GoTo mount allows for more stable and relaxed observations and is an ideal platform for those making their first attempts at astrophotography - particularly for planetary work.
BRESSER EXOS-2 GoTo Equatorial Mount:
This German Equatorial Mount has tracking motors in both axes that follow celestial objects very smoothly and precisely. The hand controller with full GOTO abilities works reliably and is very user friendly - See Manual download below. Precision ball bearings in both axes help ensure minimal backlash at all nine possible tracking speeds and the 12V battery pack is conveniently fastened to the tripod shelf and takes eight size D batteries. The mount can also be powered using a mains or car plug adapter (sold seperately)
EXOS-2 GOTO System:
The Startracker GoTo System enables beginners with little experience to start astronomical observations in just a few minutes, and guides you to various objects in the nigt sky that are not visible through the small finder scope. At the push of a button you can locate Planets, Nebulae or Galaxies in minutes. The database on the Startracker system holds thousands of celestial objects to choose from.
The Bresser StarTracker GoTo systems also uses servo motors for both axes and features an ST-4 compatible autoguiding input - essential for long exposure Astrophotography. The menu and navigation of the Startracker hand controller is also multilingual and offers a choice of German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
