This high quality ED refractor has an 80mm aperture and f7.5 focal ratio. The ED80SF is an excellent telescope for visual observations of the night sky but is also a good telescope to begin astrophotography.
At 80mm most deeps sky targets will frame up really well and unlike a more basic Achromatic design, the ED optical system collects the entire spectrum of light to one point and is almost free of chromatic aberration.
This telescope also includes a diagonal mirror which allows for more comfortable observations even towards the zenith. It also has a T2 thread for connecting a camera. The aluminium case (also included) protects the telescope safely from dust and transport damage.
