Dovetail Bar (EQ5 Style) with slotted hole and photo thread.
This dovetail bar allows the connection of telescopes and spotting scopes to mounts with GP style quick coupling clamps. The profile design reduces weight and also vibrations. The special shape of the surface allows the connection of flat surfaces (tube rings and attachment plates), but also objects with round surfaces (such as telescope tubes).
Features:
- The dovetail is equipped with one slotted hole, two countersunk holes and two internal threads (M6).
- The slotted hole is suitable for M6 and 1/4" hexagon socket screws, in the middle of the dovetail bar, length 85mm, suitable for screws with a thread length of 12-14 mm.
- Two countersunk holes, suitable for M6 and 1/4" hexagon socket screws, with the distance of 200mm from each other - ideal for mounting tube rings - suitable for screws with a thread length of 12-14 mm.
- Two M6 female threads on the outer edge of the dovetail bar with the distance of 234mm from each other for further connections or for the construction of a lightweight dual mount with two dovetail clamps.
