This 94 mm APO has a fast aperture ratio of f/5.5 and is aimed at all amateur astronomers looking for a premium compact, color-pure and bright APO. The triplet lens design includes two special ED elements which provides an image that is free of color errors even at higher magnifications. The optical performance of this newly developed lens is equivalent to that of an FPL53 triplet. This lens is mounted inside in a CNC-machined socket, which is of course adjustable.
Mounting the TS94 APO:
The CNC clamp has a GP and EQ5 level dovetail rail at the base so you can attach the telescope to the corresponding quick couplings of a variety of mounts.
The handle not only facilitates mounting on the photo tripod, but it is also the basis for further adaptations, for example, you can attach a ball head to it and mount a second camera. Next to the carrying handle is a viewfinder shoe for finderscopes or guidescopes.
Observations with the TS 94-mm-f/5.5-APO:
Of course, being a color-pure triplet lens means excellent and clear visual observations too. The high-contrast and 94mm aperture is perfect for viewing the crater landscape on the moon or some of the fascinating details on the planets of the solar system. Many thousands of deep sky objects are also within reach of these APO's.
