These Bresser 'Spezial Astro' ED Binoculars are perfectly suited for astronomy observations as well as and landscape viewing too.

These are Professional grade large binoculars which contain ED glass objective lenses (Similar to higher end astronomy telescopes).

Thanks to the fully multi coated Bak-4 glass material, the extra large objective lens and highly corrected eyepieces (containing 5 lenses in 3 groups) these binoculars provide very bright, crisp views from edge to edge. Their high x20 magnification
means they are excellent for astronomy use, capturing rich wide field views of incredible star fields and other deep space objects. They can also be used for viewing distant terrestrial objects during the daytime too.

Due to a very high reduction of stray light, these binoculars deliver the best possible views and with the individual eyepiece focus, once focus is set correctly you can get amazingly sharp views for all distant astronomical objects. Foldable rubber eyecups also make them much more comfortable for eye glass wearers allowing you to take advantage of the optics full field of view.

These Astro ED binoculars are also water-resistant and filled with 'Argon' gas to avoid internal fogging. The ergonomic rubber armouring provides a good grip and also protects the internals against knocks and bumps. With the included heavy duty tripod adapter these Spezial Astro ED binoculars are ready to be mounted onto any camera tripod which offers a standard 1/4inch or 3/8inch thread. (something we would definitely recommend with larger binoculars like these).

Note: The use of a tripod is highly recommended with these binoculars, because at their larger size, heavier weight and higher x20 magnification it's difficult to maintain a steady image by hand while holding them for longer periods of time.
