The SkyMaster 20x80 has a reinforced housing with a center pole and integrated tripod adapter for maximum mechanical and collimation stability. At 20x magnification you will be able to see a lot of more details on objects such as the Moon, but you should definitely use a tripod.
With a weight of just over 2kg, a good photo tripod with a solid tilt head is recommended so that you can observe in a relaxed manner and really enjoy some of the amazing things the night sky has to offer.
To ensure that the image does not shake while you are observing, all binoculars have a built-in tripod adapter. This means you can mount them on a ball head or - better - a two- or three-way tilt head without an additional adapter. A carrying case and strap round off the package and of course, all SkyMaster binoculars have diopter compensation adjustments.
Large binoculars with more than ten times magnification can only be used hands-free for a short time. Anything more than this will require a Tripod which gives the binoculars a stable base and allows you to observe in a much more relaxed manner and if the binoculars are mounted on a tripod, you can also take photos with a digital camera through one of the eyepieces.
