TS-PHOTON 154/600 mm Advanced Newtonian - Ideal for Astrophotography:
This Astrograph offers you pure light gathering ability due to the aperture ratio of 1:4 and therefore much shorter exposure times. With a weight of about 5 kg and a length of only 53cm, the Photon Newtonian is also an ideal telescope for ventures to dark sky locations.
This Rich-Field-Newton is best mounted on a good astronomical mount capable of its payload and of course tracking options are a must for deep sky astrophotography.
Features of the TS-PHOTON Newtonian telescopes:
- Bright parabolic optics with excellent contrast and very good sharpness for planetary observation and deep sky observation.
- High-quality 2" MONORAIL focuser with 1:10 micro reduction for 2" and 1.25" accessories.
- Extra long focus distance (98 mm from the 2" receptacle) for long coma correctors such as the TS GPU Superflat or the 2" Reducer Corrector TS2Korr.
- All common 1.25" and 2" eyepieces can be used without any problems, but they require
- An 80 mm extension sleeve for observation
- Brighter image through forced 94% mirroring on main and secondary mirrors.
